Raisa Pelletier grew up in Plesetsk, USSR (now Russia). She was steeped in a creative family and has found a way to express her own creativity through designing clothes in her shop at 899 Brighton Ave. called Raisa's.
Her new life as a tailor and designer in Portland came after a career as a lawyer, detective, and judge in Russia. She brings much joy and vivacity to everything she does and shares her perspective about her journey in this interview.
