Maria returned to the show (NMS 107) to talk about the 6th annual party she hosts on Peaks Island and she brought her nephew Leonardo with her to discuss the event. They are both from Cape Verde, West Africa and value hard work and service to community, but also know how to have a good time.
On Saturday, August 26th people of all backgrounds are boarding the ferry for Peaks Island where there will be awards, delicious food, music and dancing from 3-9 PM.
