Martin was raised in a large family in the fertile and warm South Sudan. He came to Maine in 2000 with his wife and two small children. Within 13 days he was working and by 2005 he was running his own translation business, New England Interpreter's Service (now with 35 on-call interpreters).
He, his wife and four children now live, work and go to school in Portland where he shares the wisdom of his parents with his own children.
